Information
A series of numerical simulations have been conducted for a combustion chamber of a water tube type
boiler with dual partial-premixed burners. The burner was expected to give shorter flame to make the boiler be more compact. Two burners were predicted not to interact strongly so as to yield two semi-independent flames. 50% partial load operations were tried with 3 modes and the mode with lower burner was predicted to transfer heat to the combustion chamber most effectively.
