Abstract
Combustion instability of synthetic gas in a partially-premixed combustor has been numerically investigated by varying H2 percentage of the fuel composition. During predictions with utilization of a lumped network code, the effects of different flame transfer function (FTF) models, which include the 2nd order filter model and the state space model, and acoustic boundary conditions have also been investigated. The predicted results quite agree well with the corresponding experimental ones.
